For the 2012-13 school year, we're working really hard to get your First Grade child reading and we want your child to be excited about learning to read.  To do this, we are awarding prizes for AR points earned. Your child will receive the following prizes for AR points:

5pts. - Pencil 

10 pts. - Bookmark

15 pts. - Certificate for a free icecream cone from McDonald's

20 pts. - Paw bracelet

25 pts. - I'm a BEARY good reader t-shirt

Encouraging your child to read independently and with an adult are ways you can help your child earn his or her AR points.  The sooner they get their points, the sooner they earn their shirt. 

This shirt has also been approved as a Friday Spirit Shirt!
