Please bring the following documentation with you to complete registration. These documents are required for all Preschool and Elementary students.
- Shot Records
- OFFICIAL Birth Certificate
- Social Security Card
- Proof of Residency (parent's electric/phone bill etc.)
- Previous School Records (if applicable)
- See Below for additional requirements by grade level.
- For faster processing, Registration forms may be completed and brought with you (see below).
Head Start Registration Requirements:
• Must be 3 years old by Sept 5th
• Income based (please bring most recent LES/pay stubs)
• Ongoing registrations are ONLY processed at the Head Start office in Leesville (behind Burger King off 171)

LA4 Registration Requirements:
• Must be 4 years old by Sept 30th
• Income based (please bring most recent LES/pay stubs)
• Ongoing registrations are processed at the NPE main office Monday through Thursday from 9am to 1pm.

Kindergarten Registration Requirements:
• Must be 5 years old by Sept 30th
• Ongoing registrations are processed at NPE main office on Monday through Thursday from 8am to 1pm

1st Grade Registration Requirements:
• Must be 6 years old by Sept 30th
• Ongoing registrations are processed at NPE main office on Monday through Thursday from 8am to 1pm
• If your child did not attend Kindergarten he/she must take an end of year Kindergarten assessment and pass in order to be placed in first grade.
